Are multiple Ethereum addresses from ledger linked somehow?

Hello, I have a ledger that I use. To my understanding, my single seed is all I need for even having multiple Ethereum accounts on my ledger. I want to create a new account, securely / privately (without ties to the other accounts). Is there any link between the multiple ethereum accounts on a single ledger? That is, is it possible to derive another public account key from the ledger from another one? Or are they “sandboxed” / independent?

My understand is that there is no connection, but I’m not sure and wanted to double check. Thank you!
