"Shielded Bitcoin" Whitepaper just legitimized Zcash as a threat to Bitcoin

I know this subs hate for Zcash, everyone thinks its a scam, zion coin blah blah - and now there is a new bitcoin whitepaper copying what Zcash is doing and everyone is celebrating the end of zcash.

I see it completely differently.

The whitepaper should scare bitcoin owners. It literally copies everything zcash does, even using the word "shielded" which is the signature of Zcash

Now think back to 5-7 years ago.. this scenario seems VERY familar doesn't it? With the whole EV Market revolution that Tesla created. Does everyone recall right before covid, circa 2017-2018, no one even thought the EV market had a legitimate chance against traditional gas companies. Tesla was going to go bankrupt, it was a cash burning company with cars that no one wants because everyone has range anxiety. EV cars were just no where near what gas cars were so it was all a pipedream. just a niche

Then it started to get serious, and by 2020s it was something traditional car companies finally turned their heads to... so what happened? Audi, BMW, Ford, Benz, etc - all the traditional car companies said "WE WILL GO AND MAKE OUR OWN ELECTRIC VEHICLES AS WELL!"

Then came all the talk about the end of tesla, that the competition from the traditional companies will kill Tesla.

And look at where we at today. By the time the other car companies came out with an EV, tesla was LEAGUES ahead and have gained the trust of the public. They all ended up dead in the water and Tesla became the leader

This whole scenario of Zcash vs BTC is EERILY similar, and I can bet my money that it will end 100% the same way.

And for those pro monero - monero is the Nissan Leaf. tried and true but will never be Tesla lol.
