Binance Flash Crash Liquidations – Low Leverage Loans Not Compensated, Only Futures/Perps. Anyone Else Affected?

On Oct 11 there was a sudden flash crash on Binance that worn out a number of accounts. I used to be liquidated on a 2x low-leverage mortgage place, not a high-risk futures commerce but my belongings have been instantly bought off for pennies on the dollar due to the worth spike.

Binance has released an announcement saying they'll compensate users affected on Futures & Perpetuals, but NOT customers whose loan-backed spot positions have been liquidated, claiming “collateral was offered” which is senseless because the collateral was force-sold at abnormal costs in the course of the crash.

So principally: Excessive-leverage futures merchants get compensation and Low-leverage users with SAFER positions get nothing, regardless that both have been liquidated in the same system-wide crash.

This is the exact opposite of what risk-management is supposed to mean.

I’m looking for out:

• Did anybody open a help ticket to get compensated on loans and get rejected the same method?
• Is there a gaggle attraction, Reddit thread, or legal action forming?
• Has Binance ever compensated loan liquidations in previous flash crashes?

This looks like a double normal, and it punishes customers who DID NOT take irresponsible leverage.
